Terms & Conditions

These Terms and Conditions govern the use of services provided by Expert Movers Packer, a licensed moving and packing company operating in Dubai and across the United Arab Emirates. By booking our services, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these terms. Please read this document carefully before confirming any booking with us.

1. Definitions

In these Terms and Conditions:

  • “Company” refers to Expert Movers Packer, licensed under SAMA DAIRA CARGO TRANSPORT, License No. 1486847.
  • “Customer” refers to any individual or business that books or uses our services.
  • “Services” refers to moving, packing, unpacking, transportation, storage, and related services provided by the Company.
  • “Goods” refers to any items, furniture, or belongings entrusted to us for moving or storage.

2. Booking & Confirmation

A booking is considered confirmed only when the Customer has received written or verbal confirmation from Expert Movers Packer. Quotes provided prior to booking are estimates based on information supplied by the Customer.

  • The Company reserves the right to revise a quote if the actual volume, weight, or complexity of the move differs materially from what was described at the time of enquiry.
  • Any changes to the booking date, destination, or scope of work must be communicated to us at least 48 hours in advance.
  • Same-day bookings are subject to availability and may be subject to additional charges.

3. Customer Responsibilities

The Customer is responsible for:

  • Ensuring all items to be moved are declared at the time of booking, including fragile, high-value, or oversized items
  • Obtaining all necessary permissions for access to the property (building management, parking permits, lift reservations, etc.)
  • Ensuring the destination property is ready to receive goods on the agreed moving date
  • Being present or having an authorised representative present during the move
  • Notifying the Company of any items that cannot be moved under UAE law or building regulations

4. Pricing & Payment

All prices quoted by Expert Movers Packer are in UAE Dirhams (AED) and are inclusive of the agreed scope of services unless otherwise stated.

  • Payment terms will be communicated at the time of booking confirmation
  • Additional services requested on moving day (extra labour, packing materials, storage, etc.) will be charged separately and agreed upon verbally before proceeding
  • The Company reserves the right to withhold delivery of goods until full payment has been received

5. Insurance & Liability

Expert Movers Packer provides goods-in-transit insurance coverage of up to AED 10,000 per move, included at no additional charge.

  • This coverage applies to goods packed and handled by our team
  • Items packed independently by the Customer may not be covered under this policy
  • Fragile or high-value items must be declared in advance; the Company accepts limited liability for undeclared high-value goods
  • The Company is not liable for damage to goods that results from pre-existing defects, inherent fragility, or improper preparation by the Customer
  • Claims must be reported to the Company by phone or WhatsApp on the day of delivery or within 24 hours of completion

6. Cancellation & Rescheduling

We understand that plans can change. Our cancellation policy is as follows:

  • Cancellations made more than 48 hours before the scheduled move: no charge
  • Cancellations made within 24–48 hours of the move: a cancellation fee may apply
  • Cancellations made on the day of the move or no-shows: the Company reserves the right to charge a call-out fee
  • Rescheduling requests made at least 48 hours in advance will be accommodated subject to availability at no additional charge

7. Delays & Force Majeure

The Company will make every reasonable effort to complete your move within the agreed timeframe. However, we are not liable for delays caused by:

  • Traffic conditions, road closures, or accidents beyond our control
  • Delays caused by the Customer or building management
  • Extreme weather conditions
  • Any event constituting force majeure under UAE law

In the event of an unavoidable delay, we will notify the Customer as soon as possible and provide a revised estimated arrival time.

8. Prohibited Items

The Company will not transport the following items under any circumstances:

  • Hazardous, flammable, or explosive materials
  • Illegal substances or items prohibited under UAE law
  • Perishable foodstuffs (unless agreed in writing in advance)
  • Live animals or plants
  • Currency, jewellery, or financial documents (unless declared and agreed in writing)

The Customer is solely responsible for any consequences arising from the inclusion of prohibited items without disclosure.

9. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates. Any disputes arising from the use of our services shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts of Dubai, UAE.

We encourage all customers to contact us directly in the first instance to resolve any concerns amicably before pursuing formal action.

10. Amendments

Expert Movers Packer reserves the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time. The most current version will be published on our website. Continued use of our services after any update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
